Jonkoping  Airport is located 9Km from Jonkoping City Centre and close to the  R40 road (Gothenburg — Västervik). Rail and road networks provide fast access to Stockholm (350km) on the E4 motorway,Gothenburg (150km) on the R40 road and Copenhagen (310km) on the E4.

Taxi

All taxis will pick up passengers in the special taxizone in front of the terminal.
Available cars are usually in place in the taxi zone at flight arrivals. Pre-booked taxi will meet you in the arrivalhall with a sign with the taxi company and the customer's name.

The centre of Jonkoping is 9 Km away and will cost approximately 250-300 SEK in a taxi. Please check with the driver before making the journey. Most company apply fixed prices to Jönköping Centre. Remember that it is always you, the customer, that choose which taxi you choose to go with.

Jönköping Airport charges a fee of the taxi companies of 20 SEK ex. VAT for each taxi pickup.

Bus

There is a regular bus service (Line 27) to and from Jönköping city center. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Fee according Länstrafiken urban traffic. Link to the timetable for line 27.external link, opens in new window
For further bus to Elmia, change to busline 1, 2 or 18 at Jönköping City / Juneporten.

Trains

Due to Jonkoping´s central location a variety of destinations can be accessed from Jonkoping Central Station. Some trains are direct other trains can be accessed changing at Nässjö and Skövde interchange.
