Turkietresor invests in Jönköping Airport

The charter organizer Turkietresor is investing in Jönköping Airport from 2019. This is done by setting up a series of departures from Jönköping to Turkey, during the period 13 May to 24 June next year. Turkietresor has not previously flown from Jönköping Airport, so for many in the Jönköping region this will be a new acquaintance.
"Finally we fly from Jönköping! The expansion of the program is a result of increased demand for travel to Turkey. There is no doubt that the Antalya coast is back as a holiday favorite among Scandinavians," says Levent Pandir, Sales Manager at Turkietresor.
As late as the beginning of October, the charter organizer TUI announced that they too set up six departures to Turkey, between August 17 and September 28 next year. Now there will be an increase of six more departures. That Turkey as a charter destination is seriously back is also confirmed by Ticket's booking statistics from June-August this year. Travel from Sweden to Turkey increased by as much as 74.2%, compared to the same period last year.
"It is with great pleasure that we welcome Turkietresor to Jönköping and we look forward to an exciting collaboration. We have definitely noticed an increased demand for Turkey and the fact that we can now offer the region trips there both in the spring and in the autumn feels fantastic," says Henrik Älverdal, Marketing Manager at Jönköping Airport.
Turkietresor becomes the third charter organizer to offer sun trips from Jönköping. In addition to them and TUI, Ving has also been established at Jönköping Airport since before.
