BRA starts flying from Jönköping
During Thursday, it became clear that the airline BRA will start flying from Jönköping to Bromma. Within two weeks, traffic will be up and running with two return flights a day. This until August and after that they expect to increase the number of tours per day.
As recently as Wednesday, the airline Nextjet announced that it is filing for bankruptcy, and the very next day, Jönköping Airport can confirm that it has found a replacement for the Stockholm line. You are very happy that it will be GOOD that starts to fly.
- It is a very good solution for several reasons. On the one hand, it is a well-established company with a good history, but also with a good route network in Sweden, for those who want to fly further. They are also the airline with the clearest environmental profile, says Rony Forsberg, CEO of Jönköping Airport.
Before, the Stockholm line went to Arlanda and the fact that it will now be Bromma is not something that worries Forsberg too much.
- 70% of our travelers are going to Stockholm and for them it is getting closer. BRA also has a well-developed collaboration with the Finnish airline Finnair, which opens up several opportunities for those who want to travel further out of the country.
BRA's fleet today includes both propeller aircraft and jet aircraft. Which type will be relevant from Jönköping is not yet clear, but there will be a capacity of at least 50 seats.
