Nextjet files for bankruptcy

Nextjet announces in a press release that as of Wednesday 16 May 2018 it is filing for bankruptcy and thus also canceling all flights. For those who have a booked trip, it is recommended to contact their travel agency or card issuer for further processing.

-It is, of course, a very sad message that we have received today. We deeply regret all passengers who have been affected and the effects this entails. At the same time as we follow the development of events, we immediately begin the work of reviewing possible alternatives to a connection to the capital, says Rony Forsberg, CEO of Jönköping Airport.

A receiver will be appointed who will make decisions about Nextjet's future. For further information, Jönköping Airport refers until further notice to Nextjet and the press release issued by the company.
