Charter organizer Nazar is the latest to start selling trips from Jönköping Airport. This since choosing to buy in on the six departures to Turkey next season in August-September, which TUI recently announced it will operate. Nazar, which is also owned by TUI, is known as an All Inclusive specialist with 15 years of experience and close to 1 million travelers over the years.

Nazar is primarily aimed at families with children with products such as Pegasos World, which has the Mediterranean's largest pool, its own Nordic children's club, swimming school and water park and more.

"Nazar's investment in Jönköping will be an early Christmas present for the region. Our range of trips to Turkey is now even wider. Since we both have a lot of families with children and the elderly who travel from us, we believe that their All Inclusive concept will suit our market very well", says Henrik Älverdal Marketing Manager at Jönköping Airport.

Last week it was reported that the charter organizer Turkietresor set up six departures in May-June from Jönköping against the backdrop of increased demand. Even Nazar has seen an increased interest in Turkey after a few tough years.

"We notice that many who have tried to go to similar hotels in Greece and Spain now return to Turkey because the quality you get for the money is superior there. We want to make it even more convenient for our guests and therefore want to offer flights as close to their homes as possible. Our departures from Jönköping will be an important part of that investment," says Kemal Yamanlar, CEO at Nazar.

In line with the airport's development
Jönköping Airport's CEO, Rony Forsberg, is very positive about Turkietresor's and now Nazar's establishments at the airport: "It's really fun that our conscious and long-term processing of the charter organizers is starting to "bear fruit". It is completely in line with our strategies when it comes to developing Jönköping Airport over the next 5 years – our expansion plans regarding our runway system and our modernization of the terminal will lift air traffic even further," says Forsberg.

Altogether, there are now a total of five charter operators offering trips from Jönköping Airport in 2019. Quality Travel, Nazar, TUI, Turkietresor and Ving. During the winter season you have Tenerife, Gran Canaria if you long for sun and swimming and if you want to go skiing there is Andorra and Baqueira-Beret (Spain). This summer, in addition to Turkey, Cyprus, Crete, Rhodes, Mallorca and Split are included in the program.
