Jönköping Airport is developing its graphic profile
During the first months of the year, work has been underway to replace the airport's graphic profile. It has rendered in a new logo, new wordmark and a new tagline. At the same time, work is in full swing to redesign the website, which is expected to be ready by the summer. The creation of the new profile has been done together with the local communications agency Grand Public.
The new logo consists of three entwined horizontal triangles. Two green and one in the middle blue triangle. Does it represent something, one might ask? "It's really up to the viewer to decide. There is a basic idea of an imaginary butterfly, but it could just as well be a paper airplane or Lake Vättern surrounded by its surrounding cliffs," says Henrik Älverdal, Marketing Manager for Jönköping Airport.
The reason for the change itself is that you need to strengthen your brand and be clearer in your communication. A market survey conducted by Jönköping Airport last autumn showed that the old profile was too diffuse and anonymous. The old logo could also sometimes be perceived as difficult to work with in ad production and more.
What do you mean by "Close to you. And the world” or as the Swedish translation says; “Near you. And the world”? "Jönköping Airport is also the closest airport for most people in our catchment area. We are also often perceived as personal in relation to the major airports, hence Close or Nära. The fact that you can also easily and smoothly get out into the world in the same way as the world can come to Jönköping means that you also get closer to the world," explains Älverdal.
