7 out of 10 charter trips with Ving sold out to Gran Canaria from Jönköping this winter

Just in time for this year's autumn holidays to start, the first flight of the winter season took off with Ving from Jönköping Airport to Gran Canaria. Already now, 7 out of 10 charter trips are sold out this winter. Ving also announces the happy news that Jönköping residents will be able to travel to Rhodes from their local airport next summer.
-It's really fun to see that we already have such a large number of booked places from Jönköping this winter and that just over half of all plastics during the Christmas holiday are booked. For those who dream of going to warmer latitudes over Christmas and New Year, there are still places left to Gran Canaria from Jönköping, says Claes Pellvik, communications manager Ving.
Ving's charter flight from Jönköping to Gran Canaria departs every Friday until January. Ving's summer season then starts in April with the first departure to Mallorca on April 29. During the summer months, Ving will also have departures to Rhodes.
-This year we had a departure to Rhodes from Jönköping in October, which was quickly fully booked by the Jönköping residents. Therefore, it is extra fun to be able to announce that next year we will launch Rhodes as a summer novelty from Jönköping and give more people the opportunity to travel to the Greek island, Claes Pellvik continues.
That Ving continues to invest in Jönköping is not only appreciated by the local residents, but also something that the airport is positive about.
-It is very gratifying to see the high demand for trips to Gran Canaria from Jönköping and we hope that the positive trend will continue. At the same time, it is very good news that we will have more departures to Rhodes with Ving next summer. There is no doubt that Rhodes is a popular destination and we are happy to be able to contribute with a smooth journey from Jönköping, says Henrik Älverdal, commercial manager Jönköping Airport.

From Jönköping to Rhodes, Ving will fly with its own airline Sunclass Airlines and its Airbus 321 with space for 218 passengers. The season starts on August 10 and ends on October 1.
