Welcome to the Open House on Saturday, May 10.
In conjunction with Hedenstorpsdagen on Saturday, May 10, we and the Jönköping Flying Club are opening the doors to the airport and the flying club! There will be activities for both young and old.
Here’s what’s happening at Jönköping Airport:
- Open house at Jönköping Airport from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. (Enter via the main entrance in the Jönköping Airport departure hall)
- Check out the airport’s vehicles and fire trucks
- Shop for sweets and perfume at Travelshoppen
- Come and have lunch or a coffee break at the new airport restaurant – Momento Airport!
For the occasion, Momento is serving potato pancakes (raggmunk) with pork. If the weather is nice, outdoor seating is also available. - Detur presents a new, exotic travel destination from Jönköping for the autumn: Tunisia!
- Enter the Jönköping Airport competition! Great prizes up for grabs.
- Meet the Swedish Air Ambulance service (Svenskt Ambulansflyg)
- Meet the Jönköping Aviation Interest Association (Jönköpingsflygets Intresseförening)
Here’s what’s happening at Jönköping Flying Club:
- Open house at Jönköping Flying Club from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. (Entrance via the Flying Club, Flygplatsvägen 18)
- Trial flights (weather permitting)
- Ask any questions you have about getting a pilot's license
- Try out our flight simulator
- Quiz walk with great prizes—including the chance to win a flight over Jönköping! (!)
- The gliding club will be on-site to answer questions
- The 501st Legion/Swedish Garrison will be raising funds for the Swedish Childhood Cancer Fund (Barncancerfonden). This costuming group comes from "a galaxy far, far away"
- We’ll be selling hamburgers, waffles, and ice cream!

Free admission and free parking in lots P1 and P2. Jönköping Flying Club also has parking spaces outside its entrance.
